Ban the Bulb

We were recently discussing Environment Friendliness when one topic stuck our eye - "Ban The Bulb". GreenPeace has embarked on a mission of getting the Government of India to ban the usage of the bulbs and other inefficient electronic devices and in the process aid in lowering the CO₂ emission levels. This endeavour is worthwhile considering the fact that by using energy-efficient Compact fluorescent Lamps (which only use 20% of electricity used by orginary bulbs), we would be making this world more-livable for generations to come. GreenPeace intends to get a million petitioners to sign the petition asking to ban the bulb before sending it to the Government Of India.
